Testimonial from Kentucky

We worked our cattle this last week. What a difference! We get better each time we work them. . . . We save time, energy, money. The process is better for our cattle. We feel safer and, in fact, are safer. We do not dread the job, and as a matter of fact, look forward to the whole process. We could never have accomplished that without Bud and you. It almost seems second nature now, and we improve each time we work with the animals.

Our 146th Stockmanship School

Our 146th Stockmanship School is now in the books. This doesn’t count the 1-day seminars, only the 2 or 3 day schools. For a couple of uneducated country folks Bud and I have left a mark on the livestock industry. Looking back, it feels pretty good to know that we have been able to help some people and a lot of animals along the way.

We are very pleased at the number of young people who are attending our schools. The future of the livestock industry is in good hands.

The states of Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming were represented. We are getting a lot of Texas students now that we’ve moved to Kansas!

Marketing School

Bud and I just completed a 2-day Marketing School, and I’m still trying to catch-up.

People attended from Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, Kentucky, Illinois, Wyoming, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri and Kansas. As usual, after this school Bud and I decided that "This was the best group of students yet."

This will probably be the last Marketing School that we will do. Our daughter and son-in-law (Tina and Richard McConnell) videoed the school. We plan on trying to make it available for sale on DVD sometime in the near future. As usual, it will be pretty crude, but there will be a lot of good information on it.

We gave the folks attending a 2-month, complementary subscription to the website. We’re looking forward to receiving comments and questions from these new subscribers.
